Carnival Cruise Lines has created its own "Seven Wonders of the Caribbean" in the wake of the recent announcement of the selection of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Carnival carries approximately three million guests annually to the Caribbean on 18 ships, including 15 vessels that offer year-round Caribbean departures. The Seven Wonders of the Caribbean featured on Carnival's shore excursions include Chichen Itza in Mexico, the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System, El Morro Castle in San Juan, the Mayan ruins of Tulum, Trunk Bay Beach in St. John, the Panama Canal and The Baths in Virgin Gorda. Chichen-Itza also made the official list of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Chichen-Itza was a sacred city of the Itza, and the archaeological site is rated among the most important of the Maya culture. The tour to Chichen-Itza is offered on all of Carnival's cruises that visit Progreso and Cozumel, Mexico. Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System is the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere and the second-largest in the world. Great Parnassus Update

Update on Great Parnassus Resort.

Mini Golf Course is not complete.

Some Restaurants are closed on certain days .

Alert ! for tours .... please be aware there is other tour agent for cancun at the great parnassus besides the Best Day Travel ... I have had alot of complaint from client who booked there tours with bestday travel, and where very unhappy. If you go behind the gift shop at the great parnassus resort, there is other tour operator agent that will assist you.

The resort is still under minor construction ,,, meaning touch up on the resorts.

There is alot of Touch up that needs to be completed. But the resort is still operational.

Kids Clubs.. Great Review !! WATER PARK IS OPEN and has been open....

Water Park open from 9am -9pm everyday except Thursdays ,,, Thursday they closed at 5pm because of the Kids Club entertainment.

Non-Motorized Water Sports is currently not Available at the hotel , A client complained that you have to pay for snorkel.

Canoes, buggie boards, and windsurf, all available at the Marina Aquaworld only 5 minutes away additional fees may apply and transportation is not provided by the resort.
